Note from the Webmaster: My family and I with the Association "Les Fleurs de la Mémoire" are taking care of 10 American graves in the American Normandy Cemetery in St-James, France. I'm personally looking after the graves of 7 soldiers and 3 USAAF airmen. The airmen were from 704th Bomber Squadron, 446th Heavy Bomber Group and were the crew of B24 "Daisey Mae Scraggs" which crashed on Chausey Island near my town. The story: "The Crash of Daisey Mae Scraggs" by Lt Col James Ogden, USAF Res. Ret. Pilot of Daisey Mae Scraggs is on The 446th Bomb Group website.
